Is this trust money not a worrying development? How can 2 executives of the club sign a certificate for £20K worth of shares and 1 say he can't remember last week far less 2.5 years ago and it's not a legal document? Is that not a Police matter?
Can understand due to circumstances the Shares being worthless but to say the transaction was not legal is a slap in the face to folks who helped them out in desperate times.
I'm going to phone my bank tomorrow and tell them I canny rememeber what I was doing last week so canny remember signing for my mortgage 20 years ago and tell them I'm not paying them any more money back...I'll let you know how I get on.
Incredible turn of events.

Who is David Brash and how could he have stopped the current situation? Is he a friend of Neil Rankine and because Brash's appointment to the board was kyboshed by Ged Nixon is this why Neil Rankine withdrew funding to the club? So bearing that in mind would it be wrong to suggest that Neil Rankine is just as culpable as anyone in seeing the club back in the gutter again then? What a right state of affairs!

Presumably Brash has cash & would have invested in the club to the extent that they wouldn't be short of cash. It would appear from what I am reading that Rankine withdrew his financial input (i.e. he stopped contributing, not that he called in his "interest free director's loan") due to Nixon's refusal to accept the Brash cash. Now you could argue that by no longer contributing to the running of the club that Rankine has contributed to its perilous financial position....but he hasn't called for money to be repaid to him.....which seems to be what Nixon is now doing, he has resigned his position as director so presumably was no longer contributing & he has also demanded his money back....which seems to be the one main issue that could take the club down....it could therefore be argued that while Rankine has stepped in to try to save the club, Nixon has stepped out & could destroy it.
Also, is Rankine any more culpable than all the missing fans who no longer turn up? They have also withdrawn their financial contribution, I am no longer a season ticket holder (couldn't afford it this season) - I get along when I can but have I contributed to the clubs lack of money? Arguably I have, but I have a family to look after & a mortgage to pay so I have prioritised that over LFC.
