Looks like our trophy presentation for the league, aswell as the team of the year, player of the year etc will all be done before the draw for the Sunday games on the Saturday night - so around 5.30 ish on Saturday night. Our last group game vs Hearts will finish around 4.50pm so we'll need to hang about for an hour or so afterwards for that.

From someone in Preston -
So to the main bit, what's Preston like? Plenty of decent boozers', good grub and some decent talent on display. Here's the best we have to offer:
Pubs
For you reprobates stopping in the Uni accommodation, you're opposite The Guild pub. Preston Guild happens once every 20 years', the last of which was last year. On your route into town you'll have student haunts Ships 'n' Giggles and The Adelphi. Onto Friargate, and you'll have Lamb & Packet, O'Neills, The Sun Inn, Dog and Partridge, The Old Black Bull and The Greyfriar, Preston's Weatherspoons.
Heading into town, WorldNet partners The Corn Exchange are a familiar sight for anyone going out in Preston. At the bottom of Lune Street and you can see it from the bottom of Friargate too. The old Corn Exchange building, and they have offers throughout the weekend. See their advert in the programme for more information. Continuing up Friargate heading to the "top end" of town, you have Macs bar on the left which is very popular with people at the minute. Expect queues as they usually offer the cheapest drinks in Preston. Keep walking up Friargate and you'll come to the top end of town. Fishers, Yates', Reflex, Academy, Old Bull, Baluga, Revolution and "quad-vods" in The Wellington are the main places to go up this end of town.
Where to eat?
We've got the "usual suspects" of Nandos, Pizza Express and KFC / McDonalds but if you're after eating out as a team remember to book in advance. Moka on Fishergate is good tapas style food, the best Tapas resturaunt in Preston is a place called DukPond. We've plenty of Italian resturaunts too, Angelos' is my favourite especially the set menu which you can get for £10.95 up to 7pm on a Saturday. Tiggis and Tino's are two other good Italians as well as a place called the Cafe Bar. After a curry? EastZEast is a posh curry house that won't let you in if you're slaughtered on Church Street (opposite Yates'). Failing that, you'll be back down Friargate with the Dilshad near to Adelphi Roundabout. There are ample (15-20) takeaways within a mile in the town centre including a late-night chippy on Market Street near to Squires.
Where to end up?
Club wise - we've got three or four decent places to end the night. Squires & New York New York is the most popular, at the bottom of Market Street near to the outdoor market. Get on their guestlist via Facebook and save a few quid. Warehouse is a bit tight but for indie/rock is the main place to go. It's a little further down Church Street and down an alleyway but ask a local and they'll show you the way. Roper Hall on Friargate and The Corn Exchange stay open until 3:30 am and is a decent place to end the night now.
