Given we had three trialists and a number of youngsters on show, I don't think we done too badly against a very good Steaua side.
A couple of sloppy goals gifted to them but with the squad having only just met the week before and playing their first game together, errors were always going to be on show - that's what pre-season is all about though.
I thought Scougall, as usual, stood out for us and Mensing looked a tough player in the second half. DJ made some top saves and will be gutted to have conceded the free-kick the way he did.
Was never about the scoreline though and more about getting minutes under the belt and guys getting to play alongaide each other - certainly won't have done anyone any harm playing against top opponents. Will be another tough outing against Dinamo tomorrow night.
Anyone know why Danny Denholm wasn't involved on Sunday?
