Photographs released earlier today show Mancini and Balotelli having a bit of a scuffle on the training ground. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20901006I still find myself scratching my head as to why City signed Balotelli at all. I've yet to see him stand out over a 90 minute game. He shows flashes here and there but so do most players at that level - being able to do it consistently like RVP, Rooney, Aguero etc is the difference. The quicker they bin him the better I think - he's a constant side show and could be damaging their title bid with his constant tantrums.

Seriosly hope Pep doesn't end up there. I don't reckon he'll do too well there, he needs a team like Spurs/****nal/Liverpool who are ready to come good again and just need that final wee push. I can't see city letting him do what he done at barca in regards to stripping everything down from grassroots all the way up to the first team and doing it his way. The board let him do his own thing there, city's board are too involved for my liking also too many big egos in the changing room who wont like change.

Been reading different takes on why Balotelli was signed in the first place. One of the rumours doing the rounds was that after Mourinho didn't get on with him at Inter, Mancini wanted to prove himself as a better gaffer than Jose so asked to bring him to City. If true, that hasn't half bitten him on the erse, eh?
