Burke urges Livingston to keep up form in Accies tie
Livingston will be looking to make it three wins in a row under the temporary control of youth coach Richie Burke when Hamilton Accies visit for this evening’s First Division clash.
The Almondvale side sit two points clear of Dunfermline Athletic in third place and Burke is looking for them to consolidate their position behind Morton and Partick Thistle.
“It was frustrating that Saturday’s game with Falkirk was called off as we were looking to build on a very good performance against Raith Rovers in our last game,” said Burke. “If we win this one we move five points clear in third place, with a game in hand, and finishing there would be a great achievement for our young squad.
“Since I took over the boys have been great in training and in games so hopefully that will continue against Hamilton. They are a good side who, like us, play football on the ground with a lot of young players so this should be a good contest.”

Cuthbert aims for rough as well as the smooth
He said: "Livingston and Falkirk were meant to play each other on Saturday but the game was off so they will probably be fresh.
"But we go into the game knowing that we can compete. We need to stop giving away soft goals, I think we did that on Saturday.
"Going into the Livingston game, we need to be tougher and tougher to beat. We were all disappointed after the game, we feel we could have got a draw out of it at least but credit to Partick, they probably deserved it in the end.

Snow go for Accies as big freeze KO's Livi tie
HAMILTON ACCIES' trip to Livingston tonight has been postponed after heavy overnight snow left the Almondvale pitch unplayable.
Livi saw their Irn-Bru First Division clash against Falkirk on Saturday also fall foul of the weather and there were doubts over whether the Accies clash could go ahead even before the big freeze returned.
Several inches of snow overnight in West Lothian has given the game no chance of going ahead, with the match being called off first thing this morning.
