Firstly, I wanted to say a big thanks to those in the committee this season (Tom, Jordan, Connor, Paul, Joe and Callum) who helped keep the club ticking over.
Now it's time to nominate who you would like to be in the committee for the 20/21 season.
I'll leave this up until end of day on Sunday (19/07/20) for people to nominate and accept or reject positions you have been nominated for. Once we have a list of everyone who's been nominated, I'll get the vote for each position (if needed) organised with the aim of the committee being confirmed by Sunday (02/08/20)
So, to nominate someone for a position, post up -
"I would like to nominate 'x' for the committee position of 'x'"
To nominate yourself, post up -
"I would like to nominate myself for the committee position of 'x'"
If you've been nominated for a committee position then you need to either accept or reject that nomination in order to stand in the vote. To do so, just post up -
"I accept/reject my nomination for the committee position of 'x'"
The committee positions are
Please don't just randomly fire names up. The idea is that you're nominating someone you think would do a decent job in the role.
Come the deadline, any nominations that haven't been seconded or accepted will be considered rejected.
Having just finished my first season with GS I can’t fault the effort of the current committee members this past year, well done lads and thanks for the extra work you put in. As such I’d be happy for the roles to remain the same.
