Looking forward to this one. We've not got too bad a record there in recent times - beat them both times last season and drew 0-0 earlier this season after they got off to a good start. They were away to Falkirk the other night so hopefully there'll be some heavy legs in the side. We'll need to take advantage of that and our pass, pass, pass style of football will do the trick and hopefully see them chasing shadows. Interesting to see how the backline shapes up with JCAGTL being suspended. Also sounds like Morton had a good game for the reserves last night so he might have chucked his name in the hat for a starting place although going forward, we were pretty good last week so likely there won't be any change to that. Hopefully another three points on the table come 5pm on Saturday. Also wouldn't mind Airdrie beating the Pars, Dumbarton beating Partick and Morton slipping up to Falkirk... COLTS!

Wonder if this will even be on? They have a tattie field of a pitch at the best of times and its meant to rain in kirkcaldy all day today and tomorrow. Hopefully it isnt too bad.
If its on I think we should do the business. Iain russell is bang on form and i reckon he'll add to his tally tomorrow. With the support he gets from Scougall and Andreu then i think we'll be too much for the raith defence.
3-1 win for Livi.

So we've not actually lost in our last 6 games against them - 4 wins and 2 draws. We've scored 11 and only conceded 2 in those 6 games too.
As fourfourtwo says, Beanie is banging them in just now so hopefully that continues tomorrow. Always got Sparky there too who looked really sharp coming off the bench the last couple of games.

A sign of the times maybe. Its a shame that the SFL cannot maintain more full time clubs. I believe that Neil lennon after the game mid week said his side lacked quality. No sure how that will be achieved with so many teams and players being part time.
Its a weird shaped ground and its a funny sort of high street with loads of restaurants down at the harbor end. There used to be a great wee snack bar by the bus depot on the waterfront but that may have shut down now.
Is the £17 entry fee because of us or for them, by that I am asking if that is their normal price they always pay for watching part -time or proportional part time players?

We were poor on Falkirks tattie pitch a couple of week ago so hope it's not as bad as all that. Still think we're better than them thouhg. Their fans are all a bunch of torn faces so would be good to extract all 3 points to send them home to their middens with petted lips. Wonder if ex prime minister Gordon Brown show up? The slack jowled erse that he is?

There was a commentator many years ago that famously stated that they will be dancing in the streets of Raith after a favorable result for that club. I think that Jonny is looking to adapt that saying and employ the verb greet.

Raith Rovers 0-2 Livingston Livingston: Iain Russell 20 (pen), Stefan Scougall 35 ----------
Good 2-0 win - for the benefit of those unable to attend, how did we play?

Game of 2 halfs. We should have scored more in the first half & Raith battled in the second. Why does Andy McNeil insist on trying to lose the ball at the back - twice today we had heart skipping moments

I thought it was a fairly comfortable win. We blew them away in the first half and probably should have scored a couple more. They were more up for it in the second half but I never felt that we were in any danger of not getting the win. I thought we lost 'something' when Kyle Jacobs went off, not sure whether there was any injury? Getting the shut out was a big thing because we haven't had too many this season. The whole team played well but I think Kevin McCann and Calum Booth had excellent games at full back, an area where I would say we've looked weak at times. It was also nice to see another run out for Jason Talbot. I reckon a win next week against Falkirk and third place is as good as ours.

↑ like How bad is Allan Walker these days? Back in the day he was a tenacious wee ankle biter. Now he is just a poor shadow of the player he could have been. Still got the squeaky voice though.

Raith Rovers 0 - 2 Livingston: Burke thrives at Livi
LIVINGSTON’S reluctance to rush into a managerial appointment is proving wise as interim boss Richie Burke continues to thrive following his ascension to the top job.
Ged Nixon, chief executive of the West Lothian outfit, has confirmed there will be no hasty decision made, despite the likes of deposed Hearts manager John McGlynn reportedly being interested in the role. And Burke, a bombastic character, has ensured there has been no hangover from the departure of manager Gareth Evans and director of football John Collins.

Raith Rovers 0 Livingston 2
IAIN RUSSELL set Livi on their way to victory with an early penalty kick — before hailing a spot-on team display.
Victory at Stark’s Park, which was sealed by Stefan Scougall’s strike, strengthened the Lions’ grip on third spot in the table.
And Russell said: “I think especially in the first-half that was as good as we have played in a long time. At times some of our play was excellent and we thoroughly deserved the win. I now have 16 goals so far this season, and to get a few more would be nice.
“However, I deliberately don’t set myself targets as I don’t feel that is fair on my team-mates.
“It is a team game and to set targets, I feel, is selfish. So long as we are winning, I don’t care who is scoring.”
