Thur guid. Best eaten fresh. Thur no so expensive though if ye get twa dozen o thum. The mare ye spend the mare ye save, and eat, and put on in weight. ;D

Her indoors got some one afternoon this week but i didnt get to try one until late that night - they were ok, nothing special but maybe a wee bit better than a smartprice one. Reckon youve got to have them at the time of buying to really appreciate them.

I'd agree with that. There's a window of mibbe a day or so (it takes time to work your way through two dozen!) when they're lovely. Obviously the fresher the better though.
The last of the 24 were demolished maybe 3 or 4 days after they were purchased and by then were getting towards a wee bit dry. Still ate them though. ;D

so if we give KK the benefit of the doubt and believe that each doughnut is only 300 calories then after oinking your way through a double dozen you would need to run 3 whole days to burn off all the calories you have just consumed.
