UPDATE:
Thanks very much to everyone who voted for the 2018/19 committee.
As I mentioned yesterday, one of the positions in particular was extremely tight…unfortunately the last couple of people who voted yesterday made it even tighter and took it to a draw!
Everyone who was put forward was voted for so well done to all who were nominated.
The 2018/19 committee is as follows:
Chairman – Scott Munro
Treasurer – Tom Cheeseman
Secretary – Chris Love
Captain – Tom Cheeseman
Vice-Captain – Jordan McAlpine
Manager(s) – Paul Miller & Shaun Conway
With Paul and Shaun getting a joint amount of votes for manager position, there were a couple of different routes we could have went down. Both Paul and Shaun have agreed that a joint management team is the best outcome, particularly with Shaun not able to play next season. We’ve never had a joint management team before but it will allow the two of them to help and challenge each other.
Congratulations to all involved and here is to the season ahead!

Firstly, I wanted to say a big thanks to those in the committee with me this season (Munro, Jordan, Chris, Paul) who helped keep the club ticking over.
Now it's time to nominate who you would like to be in the committee for the 18/19 season.
I'll leave this up until end of day on Sunday (15/07/17) for people to put themselves forward/nominate/accept or reject. No seconds required. Once we have a list of everyone who's been nominated, I'll get the vote for each position (if needed) organised with the aim of the committee being confirmed by Sunday (22/07/17)
So, to nominate someone for a position, post up -
"I would like to nominate 'x' for the committee position of 'x'"
To nominate yourself, post up -
"I would like to nominate myself for the committee position of 'x'"
If you've been nominated for a committee position then you need to either accept or reject that nomination in order to stand in the vote. To do so, just post up -
"I accept/reject my nomination for the committee position of 'x'"

Please don't just randomly fire names up. The idea is that you're nominating someone you think would do a decent job in the role.
Come the deadline next Sunday, any nominations that haven't been seconded or accepted will be considered rejected.
