Fizzy pop cup game to get us back on track with a feel good win would be great. We're doing well in cup games this season so lets go on a cup run in this comp too.
Would like to see Thomson start in this game, read great things about him and seems highly rated by QoS and Dumbarton fans. Toddy and Carrick to start too I think, Mullen looks like he could do with a rest before the St Mirren game.

Aye and he's played in a hell of a lot of games already, including being down in Cardiff. We're playing two midweek games in a row here too and the St Mirren game is one we could do with winning to get our first league win, i'd rather have Mullen rested in this game so he's 100% ready for the weekend.

Again proved right. Comfortable win in the end I thought. For those that are questioning delay in the post there was only a handful of fans at the game to be expected from the last 3 away games its an expensive business. Not that I am complaining about the away support.
First half all Morton no if's or but's far the better side. A goal by toddy against the run of play 1 up.
Second half much better the second goal put their heads down a bit, a missed penalty late on had it went in by Morton may have changed things.
Two scouts in the stand looking at Livi players so expect a decrease in playing staff before month end but if it brings revenue to the club so be it.
Outstanding player by country mile was Thomson this boy is class way, way, way above anything we have had since Fernandez days.

Yep Morton started the better team without troubling us any in the final third, big punt up to Toddy and he knocks in a goal, that changed the game in our favour and we never looked like losing it after that. Good goals by Toddy and Danny and could've been a third hen Danny hit it narrowly past the post after getting through on goal. However Morton missed a penalty so 2-0 was fair enough reflection of the game.
Good honest assessment of the game by Jim Duffy afterwards, nice guy.

Another good win , we scored against run of play. Wasn't impressed by Morton expected more. Pittman had really good game along with Longridge. Thomson looked neat enough but don't think he's better than what we have in the middle of park but provides competition. We probably need another defender in
