I thought we were the better side yesterday and thoroughly deserved our victory over a stuffy, stubborn and sometimes cynical Queen's Park side. Having read the match report on their website, I had a chuckle about the interpretation by their reporter of some of the play and incidents. I don't think the officials had their best day but the QP website suggests that their side were the victims of consistent bias against them. We suffered plenty too. As usual, the amateurs were very professional in how they approached the game. Spoiling, cynical and plenty of gamesmanship - Gus MacPherson took the biscuit by instructing his injured player to roll back onto the pitch to waste time and gain an advantage. The booking of Craig Halkett was an embarrassing decision by the referee. All in all, a comfortable victory and I was delighted to get one over on these guys.

Pretty well summed up. Our 3rd & 4th goals were excellent in terms of team work. The 2nd was excellent improvisation from Mullen. The opener was good poaching by Toddy.

Started off not too bothered if QP got the three points, with us accomplishing our goal of winning the league a couple of weeks ago, and them having the play offs in their grasp, but 10 minutes into the game I was bursting for us to give them a doing. The amount of times their players dropped to the ground to sucker the incompetent Referee into giving them fouls. The Craig Halkett booking was unreal, as was them getting a foul for barging into Todorov then hitting the deck. And pissing around at that throw in to give their player time to get treatment really got my goat, didn't even get booked for his time wasting, then the idiot Ref books us in the second half for not taking a throw in quickly enough, when we were 3-0 up.
Yeah the Ref was biased towards Livi right enough.
I thought young Knox had his best game for us, for such a young age he didn't look out of his depth. Ogilvie got stuck in when he came on too, good to see the young lads getting some games. Also good to see the team still playing well and fully competing with the games left, after us winning the League. I'm looking forward to next week's game where we'll be presented with the trophy.

Ooft! Great win but the crowd has got to be a worry? Less than 800 Livi fans.

Agree with JS on Knox in that his second half performance began to show why there is some interest in him. He began to find his passes & try some flicks which worked. We had seen his ability to cross the ball in previous games & he managed a few even in the first half, but in the second half we saw someone who has a wee bit extra in his skill set, so that was very encouraging for the future.
His pass, I think it was to Dec, in the build up to the 4th goal was superb

Ooft! Great win but the crowd has got to be a worry? Less than 800 Livi fans. Yep thats the issue even next year its an issue I keep saying its up too us ....not the club to get bums on seats. The club do not have any marketing budget so we have too assist in the delivery of additional revenue and that is season ticket led. There is no other option. For those of you sitting on your laurels understand unless we assist in the additional sales of ST's we will have the same crowds as we currently have.
