Another tough game against a team that has been transformed by a change of manager. They're on a seven game unbeaten run, which is impressive, so we'll have to be at our best. Surely, a performance like last week's (but with some chances being converted this time) should be enough but it's clear we need to scrap for everything in this league. I'm still sore from the way East Fife conducted themselves last week and grudge them every single goal and point they get from all that time wasting and cynical gamesmanship. However, I'm prepared to give start hating them again tomorrow evening after hoping they'll take something off Alloa.
I expect a tough game at Stranraer but feel we'll get a narrow win. I'm going 2-1 to us again. It's a long way home if we don't win.........

Very worried about this game. The 0-0 draw up here was terrible and as you say they, like East Fife last week, are having their best run of form all season. Admittedly we were doing okay ourselves in terms of results until last week it just didn't feel like we had any momentum because of the postponements. Frankly I'd be delighted with not losing and ecstatic if we win.

All about the result at this time of the season, crappy pitches and dreich conditions. Superb 3 points moves us 9 points clear of Alloa. Keep it going Livi with another win on Tuesday.

Delighted with the three points, which didn't look like they were coming. Huge relief all round.
How good is Craig Halkett? He's turning into a fantastic player with consistently outstanding performances. Easily the best player in the pitch again today.
Our squad is strong and we'll need that depth between now and the end of the season. Considering that we were missing Byrne, De Vita, Miller and Jacobs from the 17 today, the bench still looked strong.
Big game on Tuesday too against Stenny. Alloa have to travel to Brechin so that won't be easy for them. A run of tough fixtures against the sides near the top follows for us. The title is getting closer.

Well firstly the drive was not as bad today 2hrs 30 going down and 2hrs 7 coming back....what camera's? Anyway...firstly the pitch....without question best in the division. Great condition put our shit turnip field into perspective. Great food good staff so all in all as I took my seat it was going to be a good day. Felt though right from kick off we huffed and puffed a bit didnt really control the game...too many long balls, midfield played inside out...to give credit Stranraer were diciplined organised didnt prove much of a threat though. It was competitive and some tough tackles from both sides and as the game grew we looked increasingly that we would find the net and we did. A complete mile offside but we will take it. Still cannot win the league for another 4 games. |

There is a video of the goal on the Twitter feed and Buchanan appears to at the very worst level with the last defender when Cadden shoots, he may even be slightly more onside than level, it looks like an absolutely brilliant decision from the linesman.

Indeed, about time we got a lino making a good call, we've had quite a few bad offside calls this season, this one was spot on, Buchanan was a few inches onside when Cadden hit the ball through to him, and timed his run perfectly to get ahead of the defender who played him onside.
