Big game again today. Having lost to them on both previous occasions this season, we are due to turn them over. We played so poorly at Hampden last time and I can't believe we'll be so bad again today. Big pitch, decent surface and lots of width. Surely that means, given the way we've been playing, we should come home with three points. I fancy some goals too so 3-1 to us.

Ah, the wide open spaces of the Hampden pitch and stands. Silly place for an amateur team to play.

Perhaps - but it's THEIR ground! I thought we were terrible today. Just like last time there. I've come to dislike Queen's Park a great deal. All this nonsense about a nice wee amateur team. They're a cynical lot, well drilled by Gis MacPherson, and pulled shirts, dived, time wasted and generally looked to stop the game at every opportunity. Shocking. Back to us though, I couldn't get my head around why we didn't play with any wife players on the biggest pitch in Scotland. The surface was horrendous, admittedly, but Mullin and Cadden both looked dangerous when they came on late in the game. Another terrible day. But at least a point is better than a defeat. We need to take 6 points in the next 7 days.

If we end up getting caught by Alloa and failing in the play offs it will be down to our inability to beat QP and our poor return of points against EF. They were both promoted to this division so we ought to have produced better results against them. Thankfully, our results against the supposedly better sides have been more than decent.
It's starting to look like a 2 horse title race as Alloa are now reasonably well clear of the teams behind them.

I remember everyone thinking we'd be easy pickings the season we were newly promoted to the SPL too Auldnick. QP and East Fife are solid League One teams and both could be in the promotion play offs at the end of the season, East Fife certainly look like they will be.
Just like the first game at Hampden, we played far too compact in midfield and didn't use the wings enough, making it easy for QP to defend against us. Cadden was brought on too late in the game to do anything as well. On a positive, we kept our unbeaten run going to 5 games and got a point on the board, and chalked another game off. It will be another tough game on Tues but hopefully we can grind out a win and move 10 points clear of Alloa.

You are right, they did and our finishing third was a great achievement...that said it was pretty tight from 3rd down to 6th that season,

I think most fans would have preferred the management team to set the players up to use the wide spaces of the pitch but the constant abuse from the so called Livi Ultras (aka silly wee pissed up neds) was totally unnecessary! Can any other Livi fan be bothered with their drunken shite? It's been going on for too long. The club should tell them to get stuffed!

Wasn't there so can't really comment on what the brainless ones were up to but I can say without a shadow of a doubt I agree with your assessment.
