Does anyone know whether there will be food on sale in the Almondvale Suite and/or the Stadium Bar prior to the Albion Rovers game?
There doesn't seem to be anything mentioned on the club's website either way. There is no hard and fast rule for evening games as there have been occasions when there has been a full menu available, less substantial bar snacks only, and no food at all.
A similar situation occurred when Almondvale hosted a Scotland youth international on a weekday afternoon a few years back. The website was full of "come along and watch the next generation of Scotland stars" with no mention of whether the Almondvale Suite and/or the pie stand would be open so people knew whether to have lunch before going to the ground. (neither did) Admittedly, I thought that the chances that Food Creations would serve food in the AS at this game was extremely remote, but it wasn't beyond the realms of possibility that the pie stands would open (Hibs opened theirs when Easter Road hosted a Scotland youth international).

The club mustn't have furnished the volunteers that operate the official website with this info. Probably best thing would be to phone the club direct on 01506 417000 (and then report back here).

I have just phoned the club. The receptionist said that she believes that the Stadium Bar will be serving food, but that the Almondvale Suite will not open tonight (however she was not 100% sure of this). She also said she will ask for a message to be put up on the website.

The Stadium Bar will indeed be serving macaroni, stovies etc. The Almondvale Suite is not mentioned so presumably is not opening as the receptionist believed to be the case.
