Well we're not going to see the calibre of football we got at Airdrie played on our pitch, and Rovers are a difficult team to break down, so not expecting a classic here. I'd be tempted to start with Todorov, he may well be just the player we've needed to force his way through packed defences, and open up space for either Buchanan or Mullen. I can't see there being many goals scored, 1-0 or 2-1 Livi would do me. Mon the Lions.

I'd love to see us give this shower a right good tanning but I'd happily settle for an og winner in the 90th minute to get all 3 points, if we keep winning it doesn't matter what the others do.
Sadly I fear another Albion smash & grab.

I'd rather the game was postponed than face the lottery of a ploughed field, gale forced wind and driving rain. Otherwise we could drop valuable points. If we play anything like we did on saturday, we'll beat anyone in this league. 3-1 to us.

We should be beating garbage like Albion Rovers every time we play them regardless of what the weather conditions or playing surface is like. End of.

feel they where a bit late on calling the game off. The referee decides whether the game goes ahead or not. The clubs have no say in the matter whatsoever. The weather deteriorated very rapidly from around 4pm and conditions were horrendous for some hours after that. Given that there was standing water on the pitch, postponing the game was an easy decision. No doubt efforts were made to fork the surface, to give the pitch every chance to drain, but to no avail. Much as I hate postponements, I'm glad it was off last night because it would have been a farce for the players. We need points and the weather would have affected those prospects. Both times at East Fife this season the wind was so strong that the game was embarrassing to watch. We lost both times too.

Aye, cos that's how football works, the better team always wins eh? Course it is, you never see any of the big English Premiership teams lose to lesser opposition, or Celtic losing to any other Scottish team, although our budget is much bigger than all of those teams so we have no excuse for losing a game ever.

Granted Celtic this season... But we all know if we aren't at least 3 goals up at half time every match in this division it's because we are rubbish & have a crap manager.

The referee decides whether the game goes ahead or not. The clubs have no say in the matter whatsoever. It wasn't a very nice night but let's not gloss over the fact that the people currently running the club have allowed the pitch to deteriorate to such an extent that a relatively short period of reasonably heavy rain sees the pitch unplayable. Some would say that it's unplayable most weeks down there these days regardless of the prevailing weather conditions. But hey ho, the manager and sidekick that got us relegated last season are winning more than they're losing this season with a full-time team paid for by the operating committee out of the goodness of their hearts so there's nothing to see here.

There is only nothing to see when the game is called off.
It could be argued that the previous manager failed to build on the great escape/cup win form, giving his successor & sidekick a mountain to climb. By then confidence was so low they were unable to turn it around. They then got rid of the unwanted players and brought in their own and lo & behold we are 12 points clear, unbeaten against our two main rivals for promotion and with a massive advantage in GD, despite the swamp we have for a pitch. (It's not good enough mind, we are Livi we should be winning every week!!!!!)
It wasn't the current regime that decided to build the stadium on a swamp but I remember that whole area being notorious for flooding before the ground was built. I remember thinking it would come back to bite the club's butt. It's also not the first time the pitch has deteriorated during a season. The current regime have indicated a desire to have an artificial pitch installed, they wanted it for the start of this season but were not allowed to (may not have had sufficient funds but we won't know as they didn't get permission anyway). The wisdom of installing an artificial pitch is arguably there for all to see just now.
