Big game for us with the chance to go 14 points clear of Alloa, hope we get a decent support going through to cheer the players on. We've done really well through there the last couple of seasons too, so excellent chance of seeing another Livi win.
Keaghan is playing tonight for half an hour in an U20's friendly against Clyde so expecting to see him getting his first team debut at some point in this game. We've plenty options in midfield with Sinclair looking good when he came on against Brechin too, and Mullin looking to get back playing after not getting a game last week. Good competition for places which will have player bursting to do well when they come on or they'll get dropped.
I'll go for another Livi win with a Buchanan brace and Rafa coming on and getting a third goal for us. Mon the Lions. www

Wasps usually sting us at least once a season... The draw duck to finally be broken

Certainly would like to think that a win against them on Saturday should put the league to bed, looking at the remaining fixtures its hard to see us losing 4 games in the rest of the campaign. East Fife maybe the stumbling block to loose 1 but nothing that should concern us.
Our focus should switch to next season shortly and the stability next year in the championship, perhaps looking for top 4 the season after.
But in the meantime this is this time and we have a job to do on Saturday

Don't know about that misdemeanor, we've still QP and Rovers to play twice each, as well as East Fife at home, that's five games we could lose. We've struggled against those teams this season and have lost in our two previous encounters against QP. However every other team has dropped points against each other so can't see anyone going on a good enough run to catch us.

Airdrie nearly managed to catch us but have fallen away again.
Alloa had a fantastic start but couldn't maintain it, although they have bounced back a wee bit since losing their way when Ross left.
Brechin started well too but are now looking over their shoulder at being caught by some relegation candidates.
We have lost too many for my liking but because we never draw matches our wins have been sufficient to get us where we are.
Our poor record against AR, QP & EF means we can take nothing for granted & despite having outclassed our main rivals for the title so far this season we can't assume they won't turn us over in the games that lie ahead. So we can't afford complacency & need to keep the foot on the gas.
Once we can't be caught, if that happens, we can turn our attention to next season.

agreed our record is not good against these teams but I think we are better now and hopefully will take care of them in the rest of the season, a victory at Alloa on Saturday would go a long way to winning the league, so come on you Livi fans come to the game (seats on the bus available) and give the team great support

Last week's win over Brechin effectively ended their challenge to win the league (in my opinion). The team talk this week ought to be along the lines that a victory over Alloa will put their challenge to the sword too. That leaves Airdrie and, at least so far, we've been streets ahead when we've played against them. So it's a big game. Alloa will be highly motivated for the reciprocal reason. I've enjoyed visits there in recent times, despite the stadium and desperately narrow plastic pitch. It was good to see Todorov scoring twice in the second half for the under-20s on Monday. That shows he has some decent fitness lvs and should be confident. Sinclair looked great when he came on at the weekend. The bench looks strong. Things are very encouraging right now.

Thought it was a good game with both teams having a handful of chances which they failed to convert. Being a bit biased I thought we shaded it 2nd half but could not put the game to bed. Great goal line clearance from Alloa no.3 to deny Mullen in the last minutes . No real damage done with the result. Roll on next Saturday.

Before the game i'd have taken a draw because the most important thing was not to lose the game and let Alloa close the gap on us, but after how we came so close to taking all three points it feels disappointing to come away with just the one point.
Todorov and Buchanan were looking good playing together, looking forward to seeing them getting more game time to form a partnership up front.
