You'd hope so! And our board hope so too! After all, they're the ones bankrolling our planned return to the Championship. Let's hope they don't fall out and start demanding the club pays them back! All that said I fully expect a resounding victory against this weekend's amateur opposition.

Mr A is a happy, positive character, eh?! Ha ha!
I'd say we'd have too much for Queens Park but we should definitely not take our foot off the gas before Chrimbo!
I hope we give them a right festive pumping and send them back to the Weej pointless.

Will the game be on if this shocking weather continues? Such wind and rain can be a great leveller. Be a pity if the conditions disrupted our good run!

Aye, conditions can be a leveller but I really don't see why they should be. Better players should be better players regardless... Unless it's simply that the better players are too fancy-Dan to get down & dirty.
Get stuck in tae them, control the ball, impose yourself & get it right up 'em; they don't like it up 'em

I remember several years back the Falkirk pitch was a tattie field and it prevented our more skilful players like Scougall from getting the ball down and running with it. We've not got as skilled players as him but the likes of Cadden and Mullin will have a hard time trying to get the ball down the wings to hit the bye line if the ball is getting stuck in the mud. In that respect it is a leveller, but Auldnick is right, we'll just have to adapt to the conditions and find a way to play through/over them.

Mr Angry needs to get a life. Only 10 points clear in December. We should be sacking the manager and radically changing the squad no doubt. Cringe. Some people are only happy when they're unhappy. Merry Christmas Mr Angry. We played really badly at Hampden earlier in the season so we have a point to prove to Queen's Park. I can't see us losing at home tomorrow because we've been so much better recently. They're in a great run too but surely we'll be too strong. I think we'll win it. I'm going 3-1.

I don't get to many games living in Aberdeen but iv made it to Peterhead away and the game today.
In both games we've played 3 at the back and to me it's pointless. Play 3 at the back sure but why give ourselves an extra midfielder and width only to humph it passed them.
When we played a rare couple of passes today it was good but every opportunity the ball was launched up the park.
The referee wasn't great but livi did not deserve to win.
Play football and not route 1.

That wasn't good enough. The players would be better off organising themselves for all the good the dummies/deadwood in the dugout make.

Right now I feel like Mr Angry, we were the better side in the first half of a decent game but second best for the second half. Ref matched our performance, decent 1st half but rank in the 2nd. Buchanan shoukd never take another penalty (pass back to the keeper more like!).
Terrible substitutions as well, only Longridge coming on made any sense as the back 3 that had been comfortable in the first half became a disaster zone.

we should have won the game easily as we were by far the better team, the referee and his standside assistant were terrible, I counted at least 3 penalties denied, Buchanan is usually very reliable taking penalties so lets not go overboard, 7 points clear at the halfway point, I and I'm sure many fans would have grabbed that at the beginning of the season, lets move on and get a result at Methil next week

The game should have been tied up before they got back into it. We proved to be really naive again. Queen's Park may be amateurs by Gus MacPherson has clearly taught them all of the professional gamesmanship tricks of the trade. Time wasting, cynical, professional fouls, moving th player to be subbed to the furthest part of the pitch. Every single trick in the book. Let's not fall for the doe-eyed 'we're a wee amateur team' story. They're well drilled and uncompromising. We're too soft and they played us like a fiddle in the second half. I'm a former referee and I've rarely seen a refereeing performance as poor as the one that we saw in the second half. It was embarrassing. The booking for Buchanan was such a bad decision that it beggered belief. Anyway, we had so many chances to win the game. Missing the penalty was crucial of course. We need to toughen up if we are to win this league. Part-time teams and amateurs are every bit as challenging as full time teams. Let's not kid ourselves. Anything less that total commitment gets punished. On to Methil again. We need to turn them over and send out a signal that today was a blip.
