Their best player is suspended for this game so that's a boost for us.
I can see us scoring a few goals here with the strong bench we'll have, another four nil would be great. Not getting carried away though, a scrappy win by one goal would do me too, as long as we win and go 10 (TEN) points clear at the top of the table.
Mon the Lions.

The draw has to happen sometime. I fancy it will be against Airdrie

Airdrie have only beaten us 4 times in the 21 times that we've played them historically - and 3 of these have come in West Lothian. In any case, the team talks from both managers are easy today. If we win, we'll be very difficult foto catch. If they win, they'll narrow the gap to only 4 points and, all of a sudden, it looks very tight at the top again. We've yet to have a draw and yet we're scoring plenty. Danny Mullen should be back on the bench today, making it even stronger. I was really impressed by Dale Carrick's work rate on Tuesday and he thoroughly deserved his goal. He's like a new signing for us. That draw is bound to come at some point but I'm going for us to outscore Airdrie today. 3-1 to The Lions.

Fantastic win for Livi today, and we go 10 points clear at the top of the league and we're not even at the halfway mark yet. Dale Carrick has indeed been like a new signing, his 3 goals in our last 3 games has helped big time in getting us into a commanding position in the title race.
Another clean sheet too, things are running smoothly for the Amber Machine.

Yeah, Carrick has come good at the right time for us. Decent display from him today along with Byrne, Pittman and the defence.

Happy with the 3 points but the performances still should be better from this group of players.

It's a sign of how much we've improved under Hopkin when people are complaining about the overall performance after a 2-0 victory against the team in second place. We've played better and lost, that's true, but conditions were poor and passing wasn't easy. I think we have the best squad in the league and can play in several ways, making it possible to be flexible and adapt to injuries or suspensions. We've scored lots of late goals recently (away at Albion Rovers, Stranraer and Stenny, then at home yesterday) which could prove to be crucial at the end of the season. That's a great sign of the fitness and mentality of the team. Things are looking good right now. Long may it continue.

Don't forget that it is Mr A that is complaining... He wakes up in the morning and complains that he has to breath

To quote W C Fields, who was almost as miserable as Mr Angry on these boards, "The first thing I do when I get up in the morning is smile. Get it over with!" Just imagine how unhappy Mr Angry would be if we were only 8 or 9 points ahead at the top of the league at Christmas?! C

Not seeing why Mr A thinks our group of players should be playing a lot better, they're mostly quite young guys round about 22 ish, players that age are renowned for being inconsistent, yet we're grinding out wins and showing maturity in our play to do so. We've skooshed games earlier in the season and just won one 4-0 midweek, so we can do it, but we're also showing we can now keep clean sheets and see out games quite comfortably by 1 or 2 goals. The pitch cuts up rough with divots all over the place, not exactly the best playing surface for pretty football.
We've scored the most goals in the league and conceded the fewest goals, and are going into the final game to take us to the halfway stage 10 points clear, what's not to be happy about?
This team looks like they're going to blow away Gary Bollan's league winning team and win by a lot more than 23 points.

I agree with most of the comments (apart from Mr A),I think most of us expected us to be there or thereabouts, but didnt think we would be 10 points ahead with our young squad especially the fringe players, so well done to D Hopkins and his team for sorting our bad habit of losing late goals in recent seasons to scoring late goals which shows our fitness levels have improved

Mr A will still be unhappy if we win the division with a record points haul and by a record margin, in fact I think he'd still be unhappy if we won every game. We would have conceded too many goals and not scored enough.
You can please some of the people some of the time, you might even please most of the people most of the time but you can't please Mr A at any time.
