It looks as if local rivals are also coming to their aid. Cowdenbeth Are to return away gate receipts if the Pars take more than 200 fans. Raith have said that the last attendance at Starks park was 2200 (RR V Pars) and will hand any excess over 2000 to DAFC. I believe that sharing gate receipts as they used to do before the demise of Scottish football is vital in its rebuilding, so that clubs have an income very week and not just every other, (worse in some cases) I could forgive 12 12 18 if this was brought in, but that forgiveness would not last long..

As much as some of us may not like a particular team or other, I do not wish it on any of them, more so after what we went through ourselves. maybe a solution to this is as a team goes into liquidation, Scottish football itself rescues the team in readiness to making them a franchise or protectorate? For example after rescue the team could be put into the hands of a fans management board. This is not a fully thought out proposal but maybe we could discuss a way of making it work?

Pars option group have thrown in the towel, looks like we may have a blank Saturday next week in they fold. If the Pars do go, it will be a mess for the league to try and sort out.

Should the SFA OR SFL take tempory control of the club? Hold them as a franchise until a suitable time to pass them on?

Should the SFA OR SFL take tempory control of the club? Hold them as a franchise until a suitable time to pass them on? Short answer is No Once they take over the Pars there will be a line of clubs whipping out the begging bowl. As the Bawbag used to say "Rules are Rules" and as they haven't followed them, then too bad

Seen somewhere that Masterton has said they'll make a statement tomorrow? That's despite the deadline being 5pm tonight..?

As the Bawbag used to say "Rules are Rules" and as they haven't followed them, then too bad If the SFA takes over the team in that situation it will be to the total loss of current owners. The new ones will then have to pay a franchising fee to take over. That fee will then be held in a ringfenced fund for similar situations.

Bryan Jackson will start Dunfermline cull
Dunfermline’s lack of assets and the fact they don’t own their stadium has left them on the brink after a proposed share issue collapsed.
www.express.co.uk/sport/football/387553/Bryan-Jackson-will-start-Dunfermline-cull?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+daily-express-football-news+%28Daily+Express+%3A%3A+Football+Feed%29 Dunfermline's doomed share issue looks similar to when Massone began to sell Livingston season tickets despite knowing full well that the club was days away from liquidation. At least the pars fans didn't fall into the trap of parting with cash, which would probably never have been seen again. It still winds me up to imagine Massone very likely lighting cigars at the go-go's with used tenners, provided to him in good faith by Livi fans duped into parting with cash for season tickets he had no intention of providing! He was a crook, a liar and an all round nasty piece of work. And so was his shadow Angeloni Tomatino. And that wummin that used to work in the chippy at Deans too. And his little liar rat puppet supporter liaison was a waste of space anaw. Wouldn't p*ss on any of them if they were on fire, as they say.

Pars to discover SFL points fate next week
Dunfermline will discover next week how many points they will be stripped of by the Scottish Football League after going into interim administration, the man running the club has confirmed.
Experienced football trouble shooter Bryan Jackson from accountants BDO is now in charge of the Irn-Bru First Division club's finances and operations and has been told to report to Hampden next Tuesday at 3.30pm.
www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/sfl/pars-to-discover-sfl-points-fate-next-week-120442n.20708650? They should be docked them at least 25 points. They'd be bottom of the league below Airdrie then and would either be relegated or if they scrape a couple of points together before the end of the season up in to the play-offs, where they could lose out and then still get relegated. No offence, likes, but they didnie learn the lessons from others mistakes so whatever is coming to them is well deserved.

They'll get a punishment which isn't actually a punishment - like a 10 point deduction. Keeps them above the play-off place and the powers that be can say that they've scudded their arse and that they won't do it again.

And you'd think they'll be on better form in the last few games that they could jump them with a 10 point deduction.

See out this season with no deduction then begin next season in Div 3 like a certain team called Livingston had to face.
We got not one jot of sympathy from that lot in fact some on there boards were positively crowing at the thought of us going out of business. So sorry no support here for anything other than that handed out to us.

True but in terms of a real 'punishment' 25 points would actually punish them. 10 points means they already have an advantage in staying up.

I hope the SFL dinnae bottle it & throw the book at them.
I think they need to re-build as a club, blah, blah therefore 3rd Division next year. Fans surely will be delighted as they still have a club to support.
