Well I for one hope we pump this mob into the middle of next week but don't expect to see me behind the goals, far too close to Christmas to consider a trip to Ferrytown

Very tough game tomorrow , tough place to go. I'm going for 3-1 win. Would like to see Mullin back in side. I seen Shaun byrne mother passed away this week , really hope he is available as I think he's been terrific lately. Big loss with Danny Mullen missing for few weeks to

We should be pumping this mob easy, shouldn't be a hard game at all, they don't sit in which makes it an open game so no excuses for us not scoring goals.
Would like to see how Carrick gets on starting up front with Buchanan, Mullen wont be expected back until the Airdrie game so hopefully Carrick steps in and shows us he can score goals. I'd take a 1-0 or 2-1 Livi win but really expecting us to win this game comfortably.

With Airdrie having a home game against Stenhousemuir, I'd imagine that we'll have to win this to maintain our position at the top.
Here's hoping for a different outcome from our last game at Stair Park....

Fantastic result for the team today, especially with Airdrie and Alloa both dropping points, that's us 4 points clear at the top, and have a game in hand against Stenny on Tues.
Great substitutions by Hopkin too, Mullin with two assists and Carrick getting our equaliser. Have to admit I raised my eyebrows at Buchanan being subbed for Ogilvie, but we went and scored the winner just after that so as far as i'm concerned it worked out perfectly, well done Hoppy.

Great to seal the win with two late goals but let's be honest - we were quite awful for the majority of the game with little creativity and even less desire on in evidence.
I'm not altogether sure the management team should take all the credit for the two late goals as it just seemed to me that the part-timers of Stranraer tired themselves out and that we'd have eventually taken advantage regardless of personnel changes.
Don't get me wrong, it's a hard fought 3 points and it continues our march towards the title and for that I'm happy but we're making it unnecessarily difficult for ourselves too often! Against better opposition we'd find it a lot more difficult to pick up results.
An official crowd of only 333. Dearie me.

That's two games running the substitutions have won us the game, I think the manager deserves a bit of credit for it, we're quick enough to slate him when we lose. Just looking at his record in this league and comparing it against Gary Bollan's when we won by 23 points, at this stage we were sitting 3rd and on 28 points, Hopkin has us 1st and on 33 points, yet Hopkin's gets no credit from the majority of our fans, mental!!!

I understand it was a hard match to watch and the performance wasn't great, but come on Perdro, every team in any league has to struggle against teams near the bottom of the table, Airdrie just got horsed 5-0 from Stenhousemuir and that was the in form team in our league against the bottom team, it happens. We however managed to come back and grind out a win, i think that shows something about this team, they aren't quitters. "against better opposition we'd find it a lot more difficult to pick up results". So far that hasn't been the case, we've beaten Alloa twice, Brechin twice, Airdrie twice (once in the cup), Brechin and Alloa were sitting top of the league when we played and beat them, and in the last game Airdrie were on a run of six wins and sitting second in the league, I think we've shown we're not struggling against the better opposition. Winning these types of game is as the old cliché goes, 'the sign of champions', but tbh it is, through a whole season a team that wins a league has to grind out some wins and we're doing that.

That is an interesting stat. If you'd asked me if we were doing better this time round I'd have said no, but clearly we are. So well done to all concerned. Hopefully we'll keep that up in the second half of the season and win in a canter again

At this point off season it doesn't matter about performances it's all about picking up points. First half we were poor yesterday but the team showed great character and fight. Got to give credit to the manger for his subs. Gibson was running riot first half but Halkett sorted him out second , special mention to Shaun byrne after his mother passing away to go and play the way he did was a real credit to himself , he's becoming a big player. Pitts also excellent yesterday again great work rate. Big well done to josh and dale changed the game and that's what u want from your subs. Also young jack making debut. Keep going livi
