Best defence against most prolific scorers in the league. Should be a great game and I'm looking forward to this one. I thought we dominated the game at home. It's been a while since I've been at 'The Hedge' but I'll be there tomorrow. I wonder why Livijimbo has arrived at his prediction, and on what basis he has made that judgement. He may prove to be correct if curse, but he clearly enjoys being deliberately inflammatory. I'm going for a 2-1 Livi victory given that I think we've got the ability score in every game and haven't been able to keep a clean sheet all season. Hopefully Rafa has had another week of training behind him to bring even more of a threat to our attacks.

3-1 Livi, Mullen, Pittman the hitman and Mullin getting our goals. Rafa setting up two of them, Buchanan's shot being saved for Mullen to score the rebound. And if all that happens i'm definitely putting a lotto ticket on.

Inflammatory it's a score prediction. How did you get to 2-1 other than think the will concede and we score twice? Well guess how I came to it in Brechin's favour was I think they will sit in frustrate Livi and I have seen when teams do that we don't have a plan b & generally we get beat. There you have it simple. Please stop your personal insinuations

Mock rage from Jimbo?? Come on old chap you enjoy stirring it as much as I do. Col said you clearly enjoy being deliberately inflammatory, he didn't say your prediction was deliberately inflammatory. Maybe he meant it that way maybe not but for you to take umbrage at his comment is mildly laughable.
Personally I think it will be a draw but I'd be inclined to agree with Jimbo if I was pressed to predict a winner. Why? Because Brechin IMO have been our most difficult opponents so far, they have a knack of winning tight games and right now it looks cold and damp outside, so it's likely to be a bit of a muddy pitch (unless they have installed a plastic pitch that I haven't heard about) and I don't think our guys are at their best in those conditions.
Hopefully the lads can bring back 3 points despite my prediction but I reckon 1 point would be a decent result

Glad to say the boys are currently proving me wrong, Buchanan and Longridge having scored in 66 & 69 minutes respectively. Alloa still goalless at the moment

Byrne make it 3-0 and Alloa ends 0-0; good day all round.

Could have been 6. Their goalie was in good form.

Funny old game, only two games ago and Hopkin was getting pelters, now we've just beaten the two teams that were sitting top when we played them and have taken top spot. Poor sod will get no credit for it though.
Fantastic day results wise and fantastic performance by the players, well done Livi players and management team.

Aye, credit where it is due, we have bounced back from poor results and taken 12 out of 12 from our title rivals in the first half of the season. It's still tight at the top though so we need to press home the fact we are better than Alloa and Brechin by beating the other sides in the division too. We'd be miles clear if we had taken the points in the 3 games we have lost.

Fantastic win today , first half we were better team but really scrappy. Second half was brilliant great tempo , I thought byrne made a big difference , Jackson was fantastic second half to some great runs. Overall a very solid performance and first clean sheet

A clean sheet, scored three goals, went top of the league, and Buchanan goes top goal scorer in League One with eight goals, if Carling did a football game...............
