livingstonfc.co.uk/rafas-back/Loved him when he was at the club and he had a good goalscoring record for us. What he's like now, who knows but could be a good signing for us.

Liked him when we had him first time round so on that basis, happy with the news.
However, I'm not sure that scoring goals has been our problem and, having seen others suggest he's now a winger, I'm also not sure that's been a problem area either.
Fingers crossed he proves to be a great signing though. Time will tell.

Excellent news, Rafa is a quality player that can turn a game, he can play in several attacking positions too. Bodes well for us in the coming months when teams squads will be tested by suspensions and injuries. We were lacking a bit of quality cover for Buchanan and Mullen and will no doubt have to rely on Rafa when one of them is suspended or not quite on top form.

Gallagher will be available in January but Raith are after him and in pole position to sign him.

Rafe De Vita is back - aka our board as saddling us with yet more debt which will need to be paid back one day. The same old same old Livingston FC story.

Do you know what deal he was given, Alan is back at HIbs and we've signed De Vita who was desperate for a team, think you're jumping the gun slagging the board off here.

Jumping the gun slagging off the board? What, the board that contains an absentee chairman, the partner of a disgraced former main shareholder and a convicted drug dealer? The board that has openly admitted they'll again be spending more than Livi can afford this season? The board who oversaw the playing of an ineligible player over in Northern Ireland only the other week? That board?

Those are separate issues, that isn't what you're having a dig at here is it, for most of us Rafa's signing is great news but you chose to come on and be negative about us signing a good player. What I said was in response to your negativity, do you actually know the cost to Livi in wages, he's not got a club so it may well not be that much of a wage, just to get him back in the shop window for another Scottish club to give him a contract next season. And with Allan going back to Hibs it also freed up some money that we were paying out too, which we'd be using to bring in another much needed front man. You can't deny we are short up front, and only really have Mullen and Buchanan leading the line.
By all means have a go over Lithgow and all the other stuff but imo you are taking a cheap shot here.

The point is Liviv can't afford to be a FT club in its own right. It is therefore a fairly logical assumption that the current owner, operating committee, board of directors are dipping there hand into their pockets expecting the club to pay hem back.
When they have finished playing with Livi FC as a toy or get bored with the football toy they can/will call that money in and then bingo we won't have the cash to pay them. We are clearly not living within our means and that has to be a worry as fans. Seems like LFL have dropped off a cliff edge.
Rafa is a decent signing at this level let's hope he gamble pays off.
