A lot of crap he brought in most of the players who relegated us I'm off here my season ticket wont be renewed good bye friends this is my last post Good. If you can't support the team through the bad times, don't support them at all. Cheerio, no doubt you'll be back if we're pushing for promotion next year. The club drastically needs the core supporters to purchase season tickets now more than ever. I don't agree with the decision, but, irrespective of whether you support the management team or not, now is the time to support the club to give us the best chance next season.

I'm 100% sure that misdemeanor is a parody account. Surprised to see him/her back here after the topic that they put up spreading positivity before we got our back door burst in by Stranraer.
Can't really blame fans for not wanting to buy season tickets when the club makes lamentable decisions like giving Hopkin another shot. The sentiment may be there from the "board", whoever that may be, but I'm afraid it's misguided this time. Signing cast-offs from a team which finished 5th in this league isn't exactly inspiring confidence in me, either.
Would gladly be proved wrong, all that being said. But somehow, I can't see it.

Has anybody looked at the " board " members on the official site? Wee bit out of date methinks! Anyway looks like we are trying to weaken Airdrie so that 9th spot is a shoe in.

May just be me but hasnt everyone been screaming out for information from the board? They give it out and still get abuse. I get that people are annoyed about the relegation and the manner we went down, I personally still cant work out how a part time team were fitter than us. We need to give Hopkin a chance to improve the team and learn from last season, he will be more determined than anyone to prove the doubters wrong.
The fact we have stayed full time and are signing players shows to me the board want to bounce straight back so get behind the board. Off the field last season was a hell of a lot better than any season I can remember. We lost a sponsor, brought a new one in within a couple of weeks. We sold the ground naming rights, terrible name but got people talking about the club. We signed boys on loan who we thought would do the job but ok didnt but the board sanctioned the spend. People need to take a look at themselves, yes theres work to be done but already this board has done more than the last few and before anyone mentions the court cases look at our legal system it aint this board thats caused them.

Whats wrong with positivity?, I made it clear that things were bright for the club, this has been proved correct with the board putting more money into the club to continue its full time aspect despite our relegation. Nothing changes we still have a bright future IMO we can bounce straight back this term, but we need support from us all. Positivity breeds confidence, confidence breeds success. We were unlucky in the play offs, but credit where credit due, Ayr United had Somerset with 5200 fans. Ask yourself this question, what would we have had for the final had we got their? Im not mocking our fans, but right now we do not have the numbers. This year we all need to be positive we all need to do as we are doing on this forum and get right behind the team, and hopefully with our success on the pitch we can attract more fans for the championship next season.

Good on the Board for looking at this season positively. Strange as it may sound, but relegation might just be the best thing that has happened to us this season, allows us to start again. Be honest do we think that the fan base will drop that much this new season than it last??

Just for the record, I am a real person, not someone pretending to be someone that I am not, just an ordinary working person who has offered services to the club on a free of charge basis a few hours a week to help with bringing revenue into the club. As I said I purchase ST`s like anyone else but I will buy 4 and I will give the other 3 away each week to new people to try and do my bit to get others interested in supporting the club. I do hope this clarifies the situation.

Airdrie would have been our play off opposition if Stranraer had failed to beat Cowdenbeath and they horsed Ayr on the last day of the season. The 2 defenders scored 10 between them, probably more than all our defenders managed. Liam Watt played the first part of the season for Airdrie and the second part for Brechin, scoring 11 times from midfield, probably more than our entire midfield managed. They did this in the league that we will be playing in, in other words they have proved they are capable at this level. Credit where it is due, on paper these seem to be reasonably good signings for where we are. Being FT will possibly be draw for the better PT players in that division...

I'd give up all hope if we keep Hopkin, really would fear us following Cowdenbeath with a double relegation with Hopkin still in charge. Nothing against the guy, he just isn't managerial material, he'd be better suited sticking to coaching youth players. Another negative post, lets give him time unless you want to fund a new manager personally?? He had time last season and failed to keep us up. His tactics and playing players in strange positions are what leads me to having no hope in him being a success next season. What exactly are you basing your confidence in Hopkin being kept on? I'll still be there buying a ST next season but I have absolutely no confidence in Hopkin as a manager and can't see us being in the top four let alone gaining promotion. I really do hope i'm wrong and he can learn from last season, i'll back the team to the hilt and wont be giving Hopkin pelters but I fear there will be plenty others that will let him know their feelings if he doesn't get results straight away. Forums are for airing opinions, I've done that on Hopkin, i'll also be quite happy coming on here to say I was wrong if he does well next season.
