Falkirk were poor because of how we played, funnily enough I've read this quite a lot this season when other teams fans comment on how poor their team was after playing us. At some point you'd think we'd get a bit of credit for it, or is it just a huge coincidence that teams have an off day against us? I think every team we've played this season has beaten us. How much credit do you think we're due? The team are due credit when they play well and/or put in a lot of effort, or do you just think we should look at negatives all the time. If the team perform badly, or don't look like they tried much then it is fair to slate them, that hasn't been the case in all our defeats. We've played well in a lot of games, creating chances and being dominant, but like Falkirk yesterday, failed to bury our chances and then conceded a goal to the other team who took their one chance all game. The likes of Hibs, The Rangers, and now Falkirk, have had what they consider bad games when playing us, other teams fans/managers were saying the same in some games too, that was down to how our players closed them down and didn't allow their normal passing game to overrun us. It was scrappy against Falkirk, because we made it so, wasn't pretty football but we stopped them beating us for the first time this season.

DJ gifted a few goals with bad positioning at free kicks, doesn't come for balls, doesn't command his box, doesn't communicate with defenders, shouting for the ball. His kicking isn't very good either but I did notice he had improved a bit when he was back in goals for a few games there. His confidence looks affected too.
I don't think there is much in between McCallum and DJ but this season i'm less nervous with McCallum in goals, especially at free kicks.
