Just a thought but invariably there will be people who end up missing the bus; would it be worth those that couldn't get on the list going to Bathgate and waiting until all those booked have got on? Then, if there are any gaps (and for 340 odd you would expect maybe three of four to miss it), presumably they could fill the space?
Would make it a lot easier than having to drive through or catch the train; I see the 14:06 train from Bathgate arrives in Glasgow Charing Cross at 14:57 although that still about a mile from the stadium; would need a taxi with jet packs.

Could there be more will to live sapping ties than two games against Clyde? Easily Two games against Dumbarton and then another four (at least) to look forward to.

Doing things at the centre was discussed but apparently they wanted to charge us an exorbitant amount for the privilege.
Also the Livi Lion used to be a volunteer (or group of volunteers) who probably had day-jobs. Also at the moment the players are busy in pre season training - at the fans forum all on the players, with the exception of Hippo, had already turned in for an early night.
There are actually loads of things we used to do that were successful that seem to no longer be on the menu like the kids birthday parties. Remember my son going to one and Marvin Andrews turning up at the end to autograph stuff and appear in the group photos. We did one and then took the group of about 20 ten year old's to the game - the boys had the time of their lives.

doh - should have looked at the official site. If the club are struggling for season tickets they should use the Trust to help market them. Use local media, local schools, businesses - have people sat in the Sky Canteen. Get the Livi Lion Mascot in there too. My daughter in law works in there and said that would go down a treat. Get the Livi Lion mascot to visit every School canteen before season kicks off. It just needs a plan not always lots of people. And volunteers Also forgot to mention G Ford said he hoped to have season tickets by direct debit in place by next year. There was also the suggestion that players should start visiting the schools again.

The points I picked up were:
Finances are very tight; the break even point seems a 1600 gate for home games - for every game where that total isn't met "someone needs to put their hand in their pocket" - G Ford
Season ticket sales have been very disappointing; last season we sold almost 800 whereas the total so far is less than 500.
G Ford - asked about ways to try and re-engage with the community.
The club currently only have two full time members of staff - a groundsman and an administrator/receptionist.
Charles Burnett is no longer with the club.
G Ford agree that the trust would provide a direct line for communicating with him rather than going through the club admin email which is heavily used.
G Ford and the trust appealed for more volunteers to help with stuff around the grounds - the club received complaints from the advertisers over the pitch protectors covering the advertising hordings.
The lack of funds for players kit was mentioned by Burchill - the assumption was that this not only covered the playing strip plus spares but also boots for all the players plus spares? The Trust offered to chip in with the cost.
The trust mentioned that they had not made any direct financial contribution to the club last season - I drew this to mean that they were reluctant to support one of other party - trust members please feel free to correct this.
Playing squad side was very positive, Burchill mentioned that he'd lost out on 5 players (new and renewal) as a result of the embargo but otherwise was pleased with the way things were shaping up.
Season tickets have arrived and should be available for collection shortly.

Think it was around £200+ for that you got your name in the programme for the whole year and theoretically the (signed) shirt at the end of the season?
Don't tell the missus - I haven't mentioned it to her yet... as someone once said it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission....

At last night's fans forum Mark Burchill mentioned that they were struggling to fund the player kit for the coming season. Last season the uptake of the player sponsorship was particularly poor; I'll stand corrected but I think only 4 or five of the players were sponsored.
With this in mind I intend to sponsor one of the first team squad players (the club can decide which) for the season
Anyone else fancy doing the same? New players coming in and training whilst wearing shirts with No 6; Ky Jacobs on the back really isn't on.

Agreed; not sure why its a sideways move unless people were expecting someone of the calibre and spending power of Richard Branson. Braidwood Motor Company is probably a whole better bet than Presidential Decorating or whatever Nixon's business was called. Pre-season training is due to start in 15 days time; at this stage any move that allows us to start renewing contracts is a good move in my opinion. if pre-season training is starting in 2 weeks and we have only 3 signed players we are in trouble. This signing embargo needs sorted pronto. Pre season training starts on 17th June according to Keiran Sommerville www.midlothianadvertiser.co.uk/sport/local-sport/goalscoring-sensation-signs-for-livingston-1-3784330

That just doesn't surprise me about he tactical novice that is Burchill. We'll soon be known as he pub team in the league. wonder if Scotland will sign? Or the other trialist who scored two in a wee bounce game on Tuesday lunchtime. You can't be referring to Sekajja; Crystal Palace are hardly a pub team?

indeed - new player(s) who haven't had the chance to train with the side so far and possibly one of the most important games of the season.
No covers which, if used, would have undoubtedly have resulted with the game being on.
Also, second only to Cowdenbeath, the Alloa game is probably the least damaging to postpone; particularly if done early.

Yer havin a laugh pal aren't you? this mob go with the intent of causing bother. Generally drink far to much then look to see who they can fight with or bully. On Saturday I heard then shouting obscenities at a fellow Livi fan. Since when have they EVER set out to 'cause bother'? I can say as a fact they have never done so. And I'm pretty sure on Saturday that LIVI fan that you are talking about started with all the gestures to them so what are they meant to do? Stand and take it? Shouting abuse and throwing a bottle at Stranraer fans and trying to challenge some of the senior citizens and kids to a square go plus numerous other recorded incidents? Also we were guests in the Annan social club on Saturday - jumping up and down shouting at to the top of your voice; knocking over glasses; banging an annoying drum and acting like complete d*cks can surely guarantee that we wont be invited back. Also for the zit faced prat that tried to noise me up having obviously assumed I was an Annan supporter when all I was doing was sitting having a pint; please try that at the vale when I don't have my son with me or have to make the lift home. Saying these guys are not part of the DBM when they all stand together and travel in the same bus doesn't really wash. I'm not saying that the boys shouldn't enjoy themselves; make as much noise as you like in the stand; have a drink if you want but that's not excuse for acting like a complete tosser.

Shambles all round. A team like Livi should be doing much better at this level. Talbot should be fined not the behaviour of a vice captain displayed yesterday. Hope he apologised to DJ. I feel he should also make a public apology on the official site - won't hold my breath though

I'm hoping Talbot will be censured by the club for his behaviour at the mistake by DJ for the second goal. Head butt and bust up? Complete embarrassment, which will have destroyed any positivity on the pitch. Not what we need from our vice captain. Drop him and bring in Rutherford. Send out a strong message. That wasn't acceptable. I notice Talbot didn't approach Mensing who was beaten to the header in the first place. DJ should have put him on the seat of his pants. I would have love to see him try it with Mensing; would have really brought the wee ned down to earth with a bump - might have made up for his shambles of a performance otherwise.

Here here! They seemed to have a go at one of here own supporters as well. I was down the far end of the stand. Some of the filth that was being sung Livi FC could do without. Someone should have a quiet word with them. They just seem to want to cause trouble wherever they go? They were acting like complete twats yesterday; as for the singing a jumping in Annan's social club - they were an embarrassment. We were invited in as guests and guests should know how to receive. If you can't hold your drink then don't drink - simple. A couple of them (one with a really bad case of acne) tried to noise me out having assumed I was an Annan supporter; fortunately for them I had to make my lift home. Complete morons.
